Extended Learning Opportunities

Extended Learning Opportunities (ELO'S) provide multiple ways for students to learn and gain credit outside of the classroom. These personalized opportunities are created based on student need or interest, are planned in advance, and include academically rigorous content.

ELO's can take on many forms including independent study, internships, career exploration, leaders club, work-based learning, and more!

Each ELO focuses on four main components: research, reflection, presentation, and product.

ELO, spearheaded by Special Education teacher Jody LaBrie, is a team effort and is coordinated in collaboration with classroom teachers and the Program Director. Interested in learning more about Extended Learning Opportunity (ELO) offerings at Rochester Learning Academy? Please email Jody LaBrie.
